Vicki Morwitz - new Editor in Chief of the Journal of the Association for Consumer Research
The Association for Consumer Research is honored to announce the appointment of Vicki Morwitz as the new Editor in Chief of theJournal of the Association for Consumer Research。Dr. Morwitz will serve a 3 year term, beginning January 1, 2021, succeeding current Editor in Chief Angela Y. Lee.
Dr. Morwitz is currently the Bruce Greenwald Professor of Business and Professor of Marketing at Columbia University's Graduate School of Business. Prior to this she was the Harvey Golub Professor of Business Leadership and Professor of Marketing at the Stern School of Business, New York University. She served as Co-Editor of theJournal of Consumer Research(2014–2017), Associate Editor at both theJournal of Consumer Psychology(2009–2014) and theJournal of Marketing Research(2011–2014), on theAnnual Review of Consumer PsychologyScientific Advisory Committee (2015–2019), and on numerous editorial review boards. She is a Fellow of the Society of Consumer Psychology (SCP) and served as SCP President (2011).

Her highly active and visible profile bodes well for promotingJACRand is especially crucial while theJournalis still in its fledgling stage.
